Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I love OT because I get to work with individuals to help them meet their goals. I enjoy finding functional ways to both play and build skills at the same time, and sharing this will families.
What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients teach me to listen first and work on skills second. Whether this means adapting how we play or analyzing what skills a child is ready to work on, I value child and family-led therapy.
