Practice philosophy: I work with your providers, educate about medications and conditions, and adjust medications to maximize their effect. I will take action to correct drug therapy problems and follow up to ensure a resolution. I combine clinical evidence and personal preference with the goal of empowering people to make informed decisions about their medications and about their health.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about providing quality patient-centered care and working with members of the interdisciplinary team to help patients reach their health goals.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? A book editor! I love knowledge and would love to read and give notes as my day job.
Why did you become a provider? I love that pharmacists are so accessible to patients and can provide a great perspective on safe medication management to a team-based approach.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Every patient is unique and experiences the world differently. It is important to meet everyone where they are at.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? Pharmacy is a constantly evolving world and there is always something new to learn or discuss. Being a pharmacist means being a lifelong learner!
What is your personal health goal? Run a half marathon every year!
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Consistency is key.
