Practice philosophy: My patients are the world to me and my existence would be empty if I don't have the privilege to see my patients. I am grateful and privileged that they chose me to become a part of a long journey where we work as a team to battle and conquer the autoimmune disease that they suffer from. My patients are my teachers also in so many ways and I could not have reached here without their help. Hence, I will conclude by saying thank you and I will always be there for you during the entire journey.
What are you passionate about and why? I am very passionate about delivering best care to my patients. My patients are also people and individuals who work and live with with an autoimmune disease which admirable and courageous.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? I'd probably work for a charitable cause that would bring happiness and prosperity in people's life.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I remember buying first toy set as a kid which was medical equipment used by a doctor. I just knew that this path would provide me the most opportunity to bring happiness in people's lives.
What is something you have learned from your patients? I have learned a great deal of wisdom not just clinical skills and knowledge but about life in general and how resilient they are to stand up and fight against the disease which is very brave.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? The main challenge is to deal with insurance companies. I make sure that I do my best so that my patient get the best care and I go above and beyond in that task particularly.
What is your personal health goal? Eat healthy, exercise, meditation, socialize with my friends and family, arts, culture and travel!
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? I stay away from 3 things as much as possible which are too much carbohydrates, sugar and oil. Exercise is the key after that such as a walk or lifting weights in order to remain healthy.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my patients who after following a treatment plan get well and happy! They share their strength with me as part of the team and I tell myself, if my patient can battle an autoimmune disease, I can also work hard in making sure they stay in remission and live happily.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Again it's very patient centered. As long as they are well and happy in their care, that is a big achievement for me in my opinion!
