Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy involves working as a partnership with my patients and their families to find a treatment plan that fits each individual's needs. I will carefully assess both your mental health and medical history to find the safest and most appropriate treatment option. I offer Virtual and Face to Face visits for a variety of mental health conditions.
What are you passionate about and why? I believe in the human potential for positive change and growth despite the inevitable challenges that life brings. I am passionate about building relationships with my patients to discover their unique path to heal and move forward. I strive to maintain a curious and open attitude towards life so that I keep learning new things, remain flexible and continually broaden my perspective.
What is something you have learned from your patients? I learn something new from my patients every day. Some things that have stayed with me include the power of practicing gratitude even when times are tough, the importance of building and maintaining community, and that there is great value in finding a sense of purpose and meaning that is unique to you. It is never too late to reconnect with old passions, explore, experiment and play.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Practice self- compassion. Prioritize spending time outdoors and moving your body. Make time for your loved ones. This is rarely easy with the demands of day to day life, but carving out space in any way possible can result in big changes.
