What is your practice philosophy? I believe that the practice of medicine is a shared experience between the medical team and the patient. The staff I work with and I are trained in evidence based medicine, and our knowledge/skills are most effectively applied by working together with our patients to address their ailments in a manner that is respectful of their goals, values, and abilities.
What are you passionate about? And why? I find passion in creativity, building, and growing. I enjoy the journey from an idea to the end point.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Maybe an Animator because I am fascinated by the depth of detail in the artistic medium and feel it is uniquely able to breathe life into creative ideas.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider because I saw the career path as an opportunity to be fulfilled, challenged, and proud. Fulfilled by the ability to help people, challenged by lifelong learning and scientific study, and proud of a dedication to leave a positive impact.
Something I have learned from my patients is: I learn from my patients every day. The world is a melting pot and there are so many ways to navigate it. I have found it a privilege to have a window into the lives of others through my work, and learn from the way others live their lives all of the time!
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): The broad scope of the primary care office is one of my favorite parts of the job, but can be quite challenging as well. I love the spectrum of challenges that each day can present, and I’ll say that I never get bored!
My personal health goal is: My goal is to be kind to my body and mind by eating right, exercising, and living a life of moderation.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my medical training. I worked my tail off for the better part of a decade to enter the profession and am proud of the dedication and focus I employed throughout the process .
What are a few of your personal achievements?
-My band and I got together with the goal of playing the Blue Ox music festival in Eau Claire and in 2021 we made the bill!
-I moved to Chicago for medical school in 2015 without knowing anybody. I made so many great friends and had a real coming of age experience during my time there.
-I met and fell in love with my lovely wife and take pride in each part of the journey sharing a life with her.

Dr.Jungbauer listened to me and provided good advice.
Great dr
Dr. Jungbauer was very professional, informative and friendly.
The doctor was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. He called with my lab results and talked through them with me rather than just sending a short note.
