What is your practice philosophy? I enjoy developing long-term partnerships with patients, as well as their families or caregivers, to identify the best strategies to support their health and well-being.
What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about providing excellent primary care for older adult populations, as I appreciate navigating complex medical decisions alongside both patients and their caregivers in the context of their goals of care.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: An outfitter for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area because it would be incredible to live at the edge of the BWCA and see others enjoy its beauty too!
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I was motivated to enter family medicine so that I could develop relationships with patients and their families, learning pieces of their stories over time.
My personal health goal is: To register for the American Birkebeiner.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Regularly enjoying outdoor activities with my family and friends.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Making homemade pasta and qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
