What are you passionate about and why? Lifestyle Management, Quality of Life, and preventing or fixing problems so they do not recur.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Sports coach, health club manager/owner, an engineer, or an amateur piano player.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I chose it because it was hard. It is a constant challenge and I've never chosen to do the easy thing. As Dumbledore said: "We must choose between doing what is right and what is easy."
What is something you have learned from your patients? To always share the decision making process with the patient, being fully transparent and meeting the patient where they are leads to better outcomes.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Simplifying complex processes to easy to understand principles, and prioritizing the most impactful changes
What is your personal health goal? Complete as many Birkebeiner races as I can, and continually challenge myself throughout the year
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? To take care of myself first.
What are you most proud of? My Kids! Also I regularly read and listen to 2 or more books weekly for totals of over 100 books per year.
What are a few of your personal achievements? I have 5 kids so far, and was able to deliver my 2nd and 3rd children. I have an accomplished and beautiful wife. I have climbed three volcanoes, though not on the same day.

Doctor saw me very soon after I arrived always get the impression he is thoughtful, caring, respectful answered questions and made suggestions came in a second time to explain X-ray, then personally took me to area for additional testing always making me feel I was important
