Why I became a physician: I've always loved people and science.
What I tell my friends and family: I often hear people say that they are too busy caring for "their family" (children, aging parents, etc.) to care for themselves. I remind them that they need to care for everyone in their family, including themselves.
How I spend my free time: Exploring new running trails and parks with my husband and our two young boys, visiting farmer's markets, playing piano, staying active in our faith community.
