What is your practice philosophy? To promote and improve community health while working together to meet the needs of your overall well-being.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Flower gardener because I love spending time outdoors taking in the colors and natural beauty.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? Providing care as a bedside nurse for many years solidified my choice to become a family nurse practitioner. During that time, I thrived off building connections and relationships with patients and families. Additionally, my passion is to help others live a healthy lifestyle by providing education and resources to achieve individualized healthcare goals.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? My aunt once said, “you are what you eat”. I relate to this because if I don’t give my body what it needs, I find myself to be tired, irritable, and not a joyful person to be around!
What are a few of your personal achievements? Completing my doctorate degree during a pandemic, while planning a wedding.
