Practice philosophy: I believe in a holistic approach when taking care of my patient. The health outcome of a patient starts with a trusting relationship with his/her provider and my goal is to build and maintain that relationship with my patient.

What are you passionate about and why? Providing a compassionate care to my patient and family within a scope of my practice is what I am passionate about and if I can make a smallest difference in their health outcome, I feel that I have done my job.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? A chef.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I love taking care of my patients. Healthcare profession is very fulfilling and rewarding. From the day I started my nursing career, I knew that I would want to continue my education and become a NP.

What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients have taught me about patience, tolerance, contentment and love for family and others.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Talking to patient about smoking and alcohol cessation is one of the challenges which i enjoy when the patient listen to you and being complaint.

What is your personal health goal? Staying mentally and physically healthy which are equally important.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Cooking home meals and eating out less after we moved to MN from NY was the best thing I have been doing for me and family.

What are you most proud of? Being a Nurse, a good mottler, wife and sister.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
