What is your practice philosophy? I join with my patients in the process of understanding the presenting concern and their goals, as I believe the therapeutic process is collaborative. I believe that each patient is unique and an expert of their life.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Interior designer because I love decorating new spaces and finding that perfect piece.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I enjoy the challenge of psychology, as it is a lifelong learning process and each patient is unique and requires the consideration of contextual factors on many levels to understand the function of the behaviors and presenting concerns.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? I strive to maintain balance in my life and make sure I am taking time for self-care by running, spending time with my family and joining a book club.
What are you most proud of? Being a mother.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Running two marathons.
