What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about providing exceptional care to patients in their golden years. I love to take care of patients with complex chronic medical conditions. I am skilled at evaluating and managing patients with dementia.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Classical Dancer.
Why did you become a provider? Even as a child, taking care of others appealed to me. After my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia, I knew my calling was Geriatric Medicine.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Make the most of every moment, look at the glass half-full, not half empty.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? The same ailments in different patients require different approaches. I want to provide the most appropriate care to my patients.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Learning classical Indian dance has been good for my mental and physical health.
What are you most proud of? I am proud of the fact my patients wholeheartedly trust me to take good care of them.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Summiting Gray's Peak (14,275 ft.) in Colorado & Receiving Resident of the year award from American Board of Family Medicine
