Practice philosophy: Each patient is an individual, with unique strengths and challenges. Listening and learning what is important to each person is central to the doctor-patient relationship.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be: a teacher. I enjoy partnering with others in the process of learning. I believe that educating is a vital role of a physician and is at the heart of good clinical care.
Something I have learned from my patients is: I have learned that people are very resilient and everyone has the capacity for healing and growth.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Patients have different goals for treatment, and what works for one person may not be helpful for another. I enjoy getting to know each patient as a person and working together to come up with an individualized treatment plan that will fit their needs.
