I am a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist with professional interests in mental health, cardiovascular health, diabetes, geriatrics, and medication experience of under-served patient populations.

Practice Philosophy: I work with your providers, educate about medications and conditions, and adjust medications to maximize their effect. I will take action to correct drug therapy problems and follow up to ensure a resolution. I combine clinical evidence and personal preference with the goal of empowering people to make informed decisions about their medications and about their health.

If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: professional hiking guide with a small garden shop as my side business.

The best part of my work is: seeing patients achieve their goals. Knowing that medications serve purposes for a patient’s health, it is gratifying to see their health improve. Also, learning the medication story of patients inspires me to find a way to connect with patients individually and to meet their personal medication needs.

I became a pharmacist because: there are so many different medications and how they help patients is complicated. Working with patients to help them live healthier lives, and assuring their medicines are working and safe, brings me joy. 

Something I have learned from my patients is: that everyone has their own medication story and this narrative is critical in helping patients achieve healthcare goals.

What is the best thing you've done for your health? Go for a walk every day.
