I'm passionate about: Maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I love that medicine provides the opportunity to be a lifelong learner and that it is always improving and adapting.
Something I've learned from my patients is: Flexibility. Families come from all different backgrounds and approach their child's health differently, so working together with families is essential.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: Educating families on their child’s conditions and giving them the knowledge of why we are making certain decisions for their child.
My personal health goal is: I would love to explore more outdoor activities since there are so many opportunities in MN!
A few of my personal achievements include: traveling to all 50 states, and completing two half marathons.
Practice philosophy: I enjoy talking to my patients and families about preventive medicine. Kids are generally healthy, but there are still things we can do to keep them healthy and safe! I recommend all childhood vaccinations.
