Jon England, PA-C
My specialties:
- Vascular surgery
Professional interests:
- Virtual visits
I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
Prior to completing physician assistant training, I worked as a paramedic for a regional ambulance service. I spent 15 years providing emergency services for residents of Minnesota and Wisconsin. One thing I love about my role as a PA is the opportunity to see the effects that my work has on patients over the long term.
What other information should a potential patient know about you? I take great pride in being complete and thorough in my work. I enjoy hearing my patient's stories about their health and am always happy to provide advice without judgment.
Best part of my work? Seeing patients lives improve after the treatment we provide.
Why I became a (you specialty)? I love working in the operating room, clinic and the hospital. Working for the United Vascular Clinic provides me the opportunity to do all three.
How I spend my free time? I enjoy spending time outside, skiing in the winter, camping and bike riding in the summer and hiking all year around.
What Professional interests do you have? Treatment and prevention of peripheral vascular disease, aneurysms, and venous insufficiency.
What patients say about me? Patients say that I'm very calm, a good listener, and non-judgmental.
Favorite health tip? Drink lots of water and walk every day.
Practice philosophy? At the end of the day, our patients are our practice. They deserve timely, trustworthy, compassionate care and should be active participants in the decision making process. I act in their best interest, because without them, my job is irrelevant.
