Best part of my work: Helping people with brain injury improve writing, reading and comprehension using my professional management experience. I enjoy researching new curriculum related to brain injury.
At the age of 12, I had polio and always wanted to work at Courage Center after I retired. I started volunteering when I was still working full-time as a manager. I now serve on Courage Kenny's Volunteer Leadership Committee and serve as a tour guide and do other volunteering. I learned about the Community Reintegration Program (CRP) while I was volunteering and thought my professional background and educational background might be of benefit in working with adults recovering from TBIs.
