I am a board-certified family medicine physician with professional interests in pediatrics, women's health, preventive care, diabetes, procedures and osteopathic therapy. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
I am passionate about: pediatric care, preventive health, and partnering with my patients to improve their health and make a difference in their lives. I believe the key to medicine starts with educating and encouraging healthy choices for our children and families.
If I wasn't a physician, I would be a: travel agent because I love to travel and am always planning my next adventure.
I became a physician because: I am passionate about helping others. I enjoy problem solving, and establishing a relationship with and caring for the entire family. I also love that I am constantly learning new things and facing new challenges.
One challenge of this career that I enjoy is: that medicine is constantly evolving. I love that every day I get to learn something new, meet someone new and try to make a difference.
My personal health goal is: to participate in an annual race - whether it's a 5k or half marathon - I love having a running goal and challenging myself to conquer it.
I am most proud of: the birth of my son Parker in March of 2017. He has been the biggest blessing in my life and I love watching him learn, grow and smile.
The best thing I have done for my health is: maintain an active lifestyle. Being a new mom has been challenging but I try to get outside every day, exercise a few days a week and make healthy choices - even if it's something as simple as taking the stairs.
