I am a board-certified family physician assistant with professional interests in preventive medicine, pediatric care, acute care and DOT exams. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
I'm passionate about: helping patients be proactive instead of reactive about their health. If we can prevent diseases from occurring or progressing, we can help increase quality of life and well being.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: teacher because I love kids and enjoy being outside in the summer.
I became a physician assistant because: I want to help people and find new ways to address the health care needs of my patients and communities.
Something I have learned from my patients is: that each patient has their own story, and being a good provider, I need to listen to the whole story before making any conclusions.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: the complexity of medicine and having to take into consideration everything that is going on, not just the acute problem.
The best health advice I've received is: that moderation and balance are key to a healthy lifestyle.
