I am a board-certified pediatrician with professional interests in newborn care, preventive health and immunizations. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I'm passionate about: living each day to the fullest and trying to learn something new every day.

If I wasn't a pediatrician, I would be a: photographer for National Geographic. I would travel all over the world,and meet people from many cultures and backgrounds.

My favorite movie and book is: The Princess Bride.

My favorite destination is: Canyonlands National Park. It's so beautiful and peaceful.

I knew I wanted to become a pediatrician: when I was five years old. My parents never said I couldn't do it, so I worked hard to be where I am today.

Something I've learned from my patients is: that kids are incredibly resilient, but also articulate. I like hearing from them what is right or wrong with their body.

One of the challenges of my career I enjoys is: that every day is different.  I like the days where I need to research and continue to learn more about medicine.

My personal health goal is: to stay in good shape so I don't have to buy new clothing.

The best thing I've done for my health: is becoming a vegetarian. There's a strong history of cancer in my family, and my diet is one risk factor that is completely in my control.

I'm most proud that: my parents are proud of me.

Personal achievements: Completing the Hot Dash 10-mile race twice.
