I am a board-certified family medicine with obstetrics physician. I have professional interests in women's health, diabetes, child & adolescent health and preventive medicine. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I am passionate about: preventive health, because an ounce of prevention is certainly worth a pound of cure! We are constantly learning more about our bodies and health, but we always come back to establishing healthy habits (sunscreen, seat belts and fruits and vegetables save lives!). Seeing your doctor regularly is a great way to learn about your body and how to stay in good health.
Being an obstetrics provider who provides prenatal care, delivers babies and postpartum care is one of my favorite parts of the job. From the moment of pregnancy confirmation to the two month baby visit, I am incredibly privileged and honored to be part of a woman's transition into motherhood and journeying with her and the family through these life changing months and years.
Something I have learned from my patients: is that the practice of medicine is a team effort. My responsibility is to offer my training and expertise to help patients make decisions about their health so that they can lead their best lives every day.
The best advice I have received is: that everyone needs a hobby. It's important to discover things in life that are fulfilling for you and be able to spend time finding joy in them. The simple things in life keep us grounded.
My personal health goal is: to walk more by exploring all the terrific trails around the Twin Cities.
