Megan Anderson, PA-C

I am a board-certified family physician assistant with professional interests in women’s health, preventive care, health and wellness, and sports medicine. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for follow-up care.

Hometown: Buffalo, MN

I'm passionate about: traveling and spending time with my family. One of my favorite things to do is cook with my mom, or go for walks with my husband. 

If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: gymnastics coach. I love most sports, but I'm especially enthusiastic about gymnastics. I've coached kids every summer since I was in eighth grade. 

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: the constant change and improvement of health care. I love that I'm able to continue learning new ways. 

My favorite travel destination is: New Zealand because it has the most beautiful scenery. In the future, I would love to go to Europe and Alaska. 

I became a physician assistant, because: I enjoy helping others and making them feel better than when they first come to see me. I also like being part of a team. 

My personal health goal is: to try a new healthy recipe once a week, and always take the stairs instead of elevators and escalators. 

The best thing I have done for my health is: to exercise. I like to change what I do every day, whether it's running, weight lifting or yoga.

I am most proud of: graduating from PA school in Boston, MA and then hurrying home to get married; as well as my medical mission trip in Nicaragua. 

My patients have taught me to: listen. Taking the time to understand the problem is what my patients truly appreciate.
