I am a board-certified family medicine with obstetrics physician with professional interests in allergy and asthma, diabetes, LGBT health, obstetrics, pediatrics and women's health. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I am passionate about: empowering patients to live their definition of fulfilling lives. This definition is as unique as a fingerprint and it is my favorite part of the job to help patients discover and achieve their best, healthiest lives.
I knew I wanted to be a physician: in ninth grade after spending hours after school building a skeleton with my biology teacher. I chose family medicine because I love developing strong patient-provider bonds, and supporting a family through the ups-and-downs of life.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: participating in a specialty where I need to know "a little bit about everything," I learn something new about medicine every single day. The fact that I am never done learning is one of the most challenging and exciting aspects of my job.
If I wasn't a physician, I would be an: opera singer. I took voice lessons through college, and sang with the St. Olaf Choir.
The best thing I do for my health is: consistently get good sleep. It gives me more energy and reserves to make better life choices, like exercising or eating better. I cannot overstate the benefits of a good night's sleep.
