What I enjoy most about being a physician is: the opportunity to get to know and care for patients and their families over many years. I love the privilege of helping patients navigate through both the good and bad times, and being a solid source of support and information throughout their lives.
I'm passionate about: spending time with my husband, two boys, and two dogs. I also enjoy reading, running, spinning, and traveling.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: individualizing treatment to what will work in each patient’s life. I like working closely with each patient, learning their specific concerns and barriers, and together, coming up with ways to tackle those challenges, and achieve improved health and overall well-being. I believe better health is attainable for everyone, and medical appointments, tests and treatments shouldn’t feel scary or burdensome.
My personal health goal is: to find creative ways to move more throughout the day.
My favorite movie is: Princess Bride. I like a variety of books, but especially mysteries and fiction. My husband and I enjoy going somewhere warm to escape the winter for a bit, such as Hawaii, Arizona, or Florida.
