I’m passionate about: human beings, because of the amazing strength they exhibit when they are faced with challenges. Some of us may require more help than others, but at the end, we all manage to make it.
If I wasn’t a physician?, I would be a: Fitness personal trainer because I love helping people achieve their goals. It’s hugely rewarding to work one-on-one with people and see them achieve what they thought was impossible.
I knew I wanted to become a physician: Since I was in high school. I realized that caring for and helping people in need was the gratifying activity.
Something I’ve learned from my patients is: to listen carefully, because often times, the first complaint is not the main one.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: counseling my patients. In order to achieve results, the patient has to first believe they can do it.
The best thing I’ve done for my health is: to eat healthy, and exercise regularly by cycling, weight training and practicing yoga.
My favorite destination is: Santorini Island, Greece. Of all the places I’ve visited, Santorini definitely has the most romantic sunset.
I’m most proud of: having three wonderful children.
