I'm passionate about: Providing women with a comprehensive education about their health so they can make informed decisions.
If I wasn't a provider I would: Be a preschool or kindergarten teacher because I love working with kids, especially at those ages.
I knew I wanted to become a nurse practitioner when: I was able to complete an internship in college. I fell in love with how the nurse practitioners practiced and worked with patients.
Something I have learned from my patients is: Never stop listening - everyone has their own story.
My personal health goal is: Eat healthy and fuel my body optimally for mental and physical health and energy.
The best thing I have done for my health is: I started running on the high school track team. Running has become a life-long interest and passion. I've run two half-marathons and numerous 10 mile, 10K and 5K races.
I'm most proud of: My kids. I delight in them every day!
A favorite memory is: Traveling to Venice, Italy, and the mountains of the western United States. In both places, the landscape is so different from home!
