I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
I became a doctor because: I enjoy listening to people's stories, partnering with them to improve their health, and the chance to constantly learn new things and face new challenges. I love that this career allows me to care for entire families from infancy all the way through adulthood.
If I wasn't a doctor, I would be a: teacher, likely working in a developing country. I believe that health, education, development and empowerment are intimately connected and I love the joy of helping and encouraging people to grow and take on new challenges.
Something important to know about my approach is: that I take pride in working with my patients to manage chronic medical conditions without the use of controlled substances.
My personal health goal is: to complete a triathlon and run a half marathon…someday. After severe leg and ankle fractures, this will take some time! I also hope to teach my kids to love the outdoors.
The best thing I have done for my health is: to take time each day to play outside. It helps me relax, recharge and keeps me smiling.
I am most proud of: my family. My husband and children are the most important people in my life and I am also blessed with supportive (and fun) parents and siblings.
Some of my personal achievements are: biking across the United States in 2010 and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2012. I am always seeking out new adventures!
