Hannah Fischer, PA-C

I am a board-certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. I have professional interests in same-day care, women's health, family planning and pediatrics. I really enjoy working in a small community getting to know patients on a personal level. I see patients of all ages and for any type of medical concern. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

The best part of my work is: getting to know a patient by listening and working as a team toward a particular goal. There is nothing more satisfying than making a patient feel better and to help them achieve a personal goal.

I became a provider because: I have always been interested in medicine. I come from a family of medical providers, including a medical doctor, dentist, nurse and hospital social worker. I always knew I wanted to work in an area where I could help other people.

In my free time I'm: at home with my family. I have three children and a wonderful husband. I love taking their pictures and making digital scrapbooks. I also really enjoy exercise when I can make the time, and I love to golf with my husband.

Patients tell me: I'm a good listener. When a patient sees me they should feel they had their questions answered and have a full set of aftercare instructions as well. 

My favorite health tip: Drink at least 80 oz. of water per day, and you will be amazed at how much better you feel.

Practice philosophy: Laughter is the best medicine.

I have been honored to be the committee chair for 3 years of the Spring Tonic which is a fundraiser for the Buffalo Hospital Foundation.
