I am a licensed psychologist specializing in child and adolescent psychology. I have professional interests in child and adolescent psychology, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapies, grief and loss, woman's issues and mindful living. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
Personal interests: Reading, nature walks, gardening, spending time with family and friends.
Practice philosophy: To respectively and nonjudgmentally meet my patients where they are at on their life's journey and assist them in better understanding themselves, their life experiences, and why they do what they do. In doing so, it is my role to guide patients in "building a life worth living," thus helping them to develop insight about themselves and the skills and tools they may need to respond to and manage their emotions, life conflicts, relationships, etc in a more centered and balanced way. It is my professional hope to "leave better than I found them," ultimately helping patients to establish more health, peace, and contentment in their lives.
