I am a board-certified family medicine physician. My professional interests include office procedures (skin biopsies and joint injections), vasectomies and sports medicine. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I am passionate about: building a lasting relationship with my patients and their families. In family medicine we are so lucky to be able to care for babies, kids, parents, and grandparents within the same family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working/playing outdoors, cooking and eating great food. I am also passionate about Minnesota Twins baseball.
One of the best things I have done for my health is: bringing a lunch from home every day to avoid less healthy fast food options. I also try to incorporate walking into my day by taking laps around the clinic in between patients.
I am most proud of: starting a family with my wife, daughter, and son, and watching my amazing children grow.
Something I have learned from my patients is: only a small portion of health care occurs in a clinic or hospital. Most of health happens at home or in the community. I try to understand each patient’s social, cultural and family background to help build a partnership toward healthy living.
One of my favorite places to travel is: Israel. I was fortunate to travel to Israel twice, once as a medical student and once on vacation. Israel is a fascinating country with nonstop political, cultural and culinary lessons.
