I am a board-certified pediatrician with interests in adolescent care, preventive health and newborn care. I also speak Yoruba and Hungarian.
Our children's walk-in clinic Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to noon is for kids 18 and younger who need to be seen for illness and injury, including colds, fever, ear pain, sore throat, twisted ankles, pink eye and rashes.
I’m passionate about: preventive medicine, especially immunizations.
Most people don’t know that: I studied medicine in Budapest, Hungary.
I knew I wanted to become a doctor: when I was a child. I lived near a hospital and spent hours watching medical students come in and out of the hospital in crisp white jackets. As I grew older, the ambition to help others became my motivation.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy: is being able to help a teenager who is having a difficult time or guiding a new mother in the first months of her child’s life.
The best thing I have done for my health is: to set aside 15-20 minutes for daily meditation.
Something I have learned from my patients is: the need to be compassionate and nonjudgmental.
My personal health challenge is: getting to the gym - so I purchased exercise machines for home.
I am most proud of: giving birth to my daughter.
