- Preventive health
I am a board-certified internal medicine physician assistant. My professional interests include diabetes, cardiology and preventive health.
Best part of my work: When patients feel comfortable enough to share things that they normally wouldn't and getting to know patients and their families.
Why I became a physician assistant: I always knew that I wanted to be in medicine. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them with many health conditions.
What I tell my friends and family: Wash your hands as often as possible and stay on top of health concerns.
What patients say about me: I have been told that I'm a good listener, am encouraging, compassionate and easy to talk to, and that I take time to answer patients' questions and concerns.
Practice philosophy: Treat everyone equally, the way I would want my family and friends to be treated. Treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.
