I am primarily a clinic-based physician, but I also spend some time caring for hospitalized patients. I specialize in preventive medicine and managing chronic medical problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart problems.
I am active in clinical research and am part of a number of projects to improve the delivery of medical care, like the 24 hour blood pressure monitor and streamlining system-wide medical practices. As part of my practice, I also assist in teaching medical students and internal medicine residents in the clinic and in the hospital.
