Why I became a physician: My mother got me thinking about becoming a physician early in life. I've been involved with health care since middle school. I view my work as a calling.

Additional info: After years of hospital, obstetrics and emergency care, with the development of a hospitalist service for inpatient care at Buffalo, I no longer practice at the hospital. I am still pleased to see outpatient clinic visits for people of all ages. I serve half time as Regional Medical Director for Allina Health and half time as an outpatient physician.
