What is a pediatric walk in clinic?
Pediatric walk in care is for children who are 18 years old or younger. Simply walk in during pediatric walk in care hours to have a provider care for your child's illness quickly. We are here to give you peace of mind when your child isn't feeling well and get your child back to good health.
Pediatric walk in clinic hours are available every weekday and vary by location. An appointment is never needed.
Conditions treated
When to go to a pediatric walk in clinic
Pediatric walk in clinics can not care for urgent or life-threatening conditions. You will need to make an appointment for well-child exams, immunizations and care of chronic conditions (like diabetes and asthma).
Here is a basic rule of thumb to help you decide the right place to get care. Go to:
- the nearest emergency room (ER) or call 911 if you have any signs or symptoms of a life-threatening condition—emergency departments are open 24/7
- urgent care for non-life-threatening illness, infection or injury, when your clinic is closed or you can’t get a convenient appointment
- walk in care for a less expensive option for the treatment of minor illness, injury or skin issues.
