I have completed my undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I received my medical degree in 1987, from the University of Pittsburgh. My residency and internship in internal medicine were completed at the University of Pittsburgh, the Presbyterian Hospital and the Veteran's Administration medical Center. For my fellowship, I moved to Minnesota, completing my studies in gastroenterology in 1994.
I am board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
I have a special interest in colonoscopy, colonoscopy with polypectomy, esophageal dilations, endoscopic foreign body removal, esophagogastroduodenoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
