I am a board-certified podiatrist specializing in podiatric medicine and surgery with professional interests in sports medicine, trauma, arthroscopy and diabetic limb salvage.
Hometown: Arlington, MN
Best part of my work: Seeing a patient and listening to their individual needs and expectations; coming up with a plan that will work best for that person.
Why I became a physician: I first became interested in foot and ankle surgery after sustaining an ankle injury in high school. I realized at that time that time how much a foot or ankle injury can impact your daily life.
What I tell friends and family: The first step to protecting your feet is properly fitting, supportive shoe gear.
How I spend my free time: I spend my free time weightlifting, rock climbing, paddle boarding and jogging.
What patients say about me: I am often told that I explain pathology and treatment in a way that the patient can understand.
Favorite health tip: Wear shoes that fit properly with a wide enough toe box to fit your toes comfortably.
Practice philosophy: To treat foot and ankle pain in the least invasive way possible and to only provide surgical intervention when conservative methods have failed.
