Kristianne Schultz, DAOM, LAc

Kristianne Schultz has her clinical doctorate in traditional Chinese medicine, practicing acupuncture since 2008. She has been an employee for Penny George Institute for Health and Healing since 2012 and currently practices at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. 

Her training for acupuncture began at Northwestern Health Sciences University earning her master’s degree in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and The American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (now the American Academy of Health and Wellness). In 2009 Kristianne attended three weeks at Tianjin University in Tianjin China, studying on stroke protocols, working with some of the most famous TCM physicians in modern-day China.

Kristianne enjoys complex cases, with many referrals being patients who struggle with chronic pain and chronic symptoms.  “I enjoy a challenge, feeling honored to be a part of patients healing processes, especially people who have idiopathic diseases and syndromes that have not found relief in the Western medicine system approach. The Integration of medicine is key to whole person care. There is no such thing as one-size fits-all when working with patients and healthcare providers. I enjoy to offering patient’s a whole person care approach.”

Kristianne is also a certified emergency medicine technician and has practiced as a firefighter for two years in Eden Prairie, who serves 65,000 people and 22,000 households with an average of 3,000 calls per year. “I loved the opportunity to work alongside of some of the best responders in emergent situations---it has provided me a deeper sense in humanity and community.
