A native of Minnesota's Twin Cities, I received my doctor of osteopathy degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and joined Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute in 2010.
I endorse individualized holistic care. Patients don’t fit into a box; each person has his or her own medical issue and his or her own goals of care. I educate my patients about their challenges and help guide them through current management strategies/options.
I am passionate about making health care work for my patients. Too often the medical community tries to dictate care and not educate, inform and guide people through what is best for themselves as individuals.
I enjoy being active; hunting, skiing, running and going to the gym. A highly active lifestyle makes up for my love of food.
