The best part of my work is: interacting with patients and their families, hearing their life stories and becoming actively involved as part of their care team.
I became a provider because: I had an energetic college biology professor and since then I have always enjoyed the intellectual challenge of science. I wanted a career in which I would always be actively learning. Medicine provides the perfect opportunity for both of these.
Favorite health tip: Keep motivated - small changes can yield big results.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: science teacher or a travel writer - or both!
