What are you passionate about and why? Expanding access to quality care and breaking down the systemic barriers that affect women’s health. All patients deserve compassionate and evidence-based care, no matter their background or circumstance.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Growing up I wanted to be a professional dancer. I trained for years in ballet, tap, jazz, and more!
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? This specialty is so unique... I love the mix of medicine and surgery and the ability to build long-term and long-lasting relationships with patients. I feel so honored to practice in OB/GYN.
What is something you have learned from your patients? The power of empathy and taking the time to truly listen. Meeting people where they are and trying to understand their perspective is key to building trust and creating more meaningful connections.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Setting realistic goals and building healthy habits that work for your lifestyle, rather than trying to force changes that are not sustainable.
