Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy is to treat each patient as an individual, each with their own set of medical conditions requiring individualized treatment protocols. I truly enjoy the unique challenges that each patient poses. I strive to treat all patients with the utmost dedication and respect.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about practicing my specialty to the best of my ability using the most modern techniques and equipment.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Travel photographer.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I become a medical professional to help as many people as possible. Becoming a physician was a goal of mine from a very young age as it combined my natural empathy and love of math and science.
What is something you have learned from your patients? I have learned that every patient is a unique individual requiring a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Neurointerventional surgery is one of the most innovative and rapidly evolving specialties. Learning new surgical techniques and new technology is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job.
What is your personal health goal? Continue to exercise and eat healthy to keep up with my young daughters.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Maintain consistency with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of being able to balance my family and professional lives, which includes giving everything I have to both endeavors.
What are a few of your personal achievements? I am blessed to be able to practice in one of the most rapidly evolving specialties in medicine that has impacted so many patients in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
