Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy is rooted in the integration of evidence-based medicine within the medical model, ensuring that clinical decisions are guided by the most current and reliable scientific research. At the same time, I am deeply committed to a patient-centered approach, recognizing and respecting each individual’s values, preferences, and unique health goals.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about providing not only excellent, evidence-based medical care, but also recognizing and addressing the significant psychosocial impact that a hematologic or oncologic diagnosis can have on patients and their families.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Doggy daycare owner.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I was inspired to become a Physician Assistant after my own experience with a bone tumor just before the age of 21.

What is something you have learned from your patients? To always listen to my patients and their family members.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I find great fulfillment in caring for medically complex patients, where each case presents unique challenges and opportunities for thoughtful, personalized care.

What is your personal health goal? To remain active for my children.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? If you don't use it, you lose it! Keep moving!

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the provider I have become over the last several years while also creating a beautiful family at home.
