Practice philosophy: I am deeply committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where people feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health. I view each patient as an individual, considering their unique physical, emotional, cultural, and social factors when developing personalized care plans. Above all, I strive to build lasting relationships with my patients and their families, serving not only as a healthcare provider but as a trusted advocate for their health and happiness.
What are you passionate about and why? As a family medicine physician with a passion for obstetrics and women’s health, my practice philosophy centers on providing compassionate, holistic, and patient-centered care. I believe in partnering with patients throughout all stages of life to support their health and well-being.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? An artist
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider to empower others through compassionate care. I knew this was my calling when volunteering in underserved clinics ignited my passion for women's health and family medicine.
What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients have taught me the strength of resilience and the importance of listening. Their stories remind me that healing goes beyond medicine - it’s about connection and trust.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Balancing the complexities of patient care is a challenge I enjoy. It pushes me to think critically, grow continuously, and build meaningful relationships that make a lasting impact.
What is your personal health goal? To run a half marathon
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? The best health advice I’ve received is to prioritize consistency over perfection - small, sustainable habits like regular exercise and mindful eating make a big difference over time.
What are you most proud of? I’m most proud of the trust I’ve built with my patients. Guiding them through pivotal life moments and seeing their resilience affirms the purpose of my work every day.
What are a few of your personal achievements? I’m proud of earning my medical degree, completing specialized training in obstetrics, working and living in underserved communities, and mentoring future healthcare providers.
