Practice philosophy: My goal is to listen closely and get a thorough understanding of my patients' concerns before moving on to making a plan. I also believe that prevention is one of the most important parts of pediatrics, so I like to spend at least a little time at each appointment discussing anticipatory guidance (such as advice for staying healthy and safe, what to expect at a given age, and when to worry).
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a pediatrician first and foremost because I love caring for children. I also really enjoy partnering with parents to help them optimize their children's health.
