I aim to empower my patients, through education and conversation, to participate actively in their care so that together we can develop achievable treatment plans, striving for high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about travel. I believe traveling is essential for broadening perspectives, experiencing diverse cultures, and gaining new insights. It fosters empathy, cultural understanding, and personal growth, enriching life in profound ways.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? An astronaut. I have always been fascinated by space and would be curious to explore beyond Earth.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? The opportunity to connect with other people daily and support people in their healing journey is what drew me to healthcare. In PA school I developed a passion for orthopedic surgery and the OR.
What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients have taught me the importance of communication in building connections based on understanding and trust, which can lead to meaningful patient-provider relationships.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Navigating complex medical cases and finding innovative solutions is a challenge in healthcare that I find deeply rewarding.
What is your personal health goal? My personal health goal is to do 10 pull-ups.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Everything in moderation.
What are you most proud of? Becoming a PA! Also, my community of family, friends, and colleagues who have supported me through this journey.
