What are you passionate about and why? My passion lies in helping relieve emotional pain that accompanies the lives of so many people. To reduce the suffering from chemical use and increase mental and physical wellness.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? If not for health care I would have followed my passions in business and management.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I decided to become a provider while in the Navy. I was taking correspondence courses while deployed and after meeting with the Psychology professor on board, our discussions influenced my path.

What is something you have learned from your patients? My clients have taught me to listen and to work as team to overcome what has brought them to seek my services.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Providing therapy challenges me to individualize the most effective treatment for each person I encounter keeping me disciplined to seek out the most effective up to date psychotherapies.

What is your personal health goal? My personal health goal is to run a marathon within by 2030.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Managing my health is finding ways to reduce and manage stress.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud that I have been able to set and achieve goals I set for myself throughout my life.

What are a few of your personal achievements? I served Honorably in the US Navy for 9 years. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Masters Degree. I have a loving supportive family.
