Practice philosophy: Work to make every patient interaction an experience where you try improve their quality of life, and have them leave your presence better than when they came to see you. Work hard on educating a patient and alleviating their fears, even when sometime facing difficult situations.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about providing care and improving people’s quality of life, as well as the continuous challenges that the medical profession provides. It is humbling to see the impact a physician can have in educating, helping a patient and alleviating their fears.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Investigative journalist, or law-enforcement at the federal level.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? My grandfather who wasn't a long time smoker progressively. I saw the direct impact a physician could make in educating a patient and alleviating fear and worry.
What is something you have learned from your patients? You will never know everything, and recognizing that is the path that allows you to find the answers that will eventually help your patient.
What is your personal health goal? Try to stay healthy, in order to enjoy many years with my family.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? In the last few years I've incorporated and more intense cardiovascular and strength exercise plan in order to improve/stay in good health
What are you most proud of?My marriage and my family. I have a wonderful, loving, supported and understanding wife and two incredible daughters that fill me with joy every day.
