Practice philosophy: It can be very scary to think that your brain or that of a loved one is not working the way you expect it should. My goal is to help everyone feel comfortable sharing their concerns and to help both patients and families understand how an acute event such as a stroke, a chronic condition like diabetes, a degenerative condition like Alzheimer’s, or even normal aging, can impact memory, attention, language and other thinking skills.
What are you passionate about and why? It is very important to me that my patients feel heard and know that they have a role a play. After completing an evaluation with me, I may not always have the news you want to hear, but I will always listen and I will always have recommendations to guide your journey to your best brain health.
