Practice philosophy: My philosophy is to help others create sustainable lifestyle changes. I believe in an individualized approach and setting realistic goals that leave people feeling confident in their journey.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about making health simple. My goal is for each person to believe that they can reach their goals. I am also passionate about fostering healthy relationships with food.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I knew that I wanted to study nutrition since high school. The more I learned about it, the more I wanted to help people. I can't imagine doing anything else.

What is something you have learned from your patients? I’ve learned that making healthy lifestyle changes takes perseverance and determination. I strive to go out of my way to provide encouragement and experience to help those creating healthy changes.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? The most challenging part of being a dietitian addressing the misinformation that spreads, especially on the internet. I enjoy providing reassurance that nutrition is not as complicated as it seems.

What is your personal health goal? Maintain my mental health

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? The best thing I do for myself is exercise. I am proud of myself for making this a priority, and I know that it impacts my physical and mental health.
